This is a brand new, genuine OEM BorgWarner CHRA. Also referred to as a turbocharger cartridge, CHRA stands for "Center Housing Rotating Assembly". This is the center section of the turbo that includes all the bearings and seals that wear out on a turbocharger in normal use. You would need to disassemble your original turbocharger and reuse the intake/compressor and exhaust/turbine housings - the housings are not really wear items, but if they are damaged in some other way (usually rusted or cracked) then a CHRA may not be for you. You would also need to test and reuse your original wastegate and actuator, if so equipped. This is not a particularly DIY-friendly option, and professional installation is highly recommended.
