It does NOT have a wastegate, and it replaces the Garrett turbo's bolt-on housings with band clamps to allow for infinite adjustability, making it easier to use in custom applications. Other improvements include the Extended Tip Technology compressor wheel to flow more air and make more power, twin hydrodynamic journal bearings, and a twin-scroll turbine wheel on the exhaust side to reduce lag.
