This is a brand new, genuine OEM BorgWarner CHRA (center housing rotating assembly) for the K16 compound turbocharger assembly equipped on the Navistar VT275, V126 or Ford PowerStroke 4.5L diesel V6. This cartridge (BorgWarner part number 53277100199) fits the low-pressure half of this turbo. This is sort of like a rebuild kit for your original turbo - you can disconnect the exhaust manifold and compressor housing from your original turbo and attach them to this center housing, which is pre-assembled and balanced with all the bearings and seals that wear out on a turbocharger in normal use. This will not work if you are replacing your turbocharger because of a cracked housing, crossover pipe or a fault with the wastegate actuator. This is a very involved procedure, and we strongly advise this only be installed by an experienced professional.
